Flip-flop on flip-flopping

Kathryn Jean Lopez has changed her mind on 'flip-flopping' -- changing one's positions -- in light of the toxic tag hurting Mitt's chances for John McCain's vice presidential nod, even though she heavily criticized John Kerry for it in 2004 and still today.
Don't you get it? Mitt was reevaluating. Kerry had two positions at once! Why can't you see the difference?
