Former state Democratic Party Chair Phil Johnston has the zinger of the day. In a New York Times article about John Edwards and Joe Lieberman's absence from the DNC Convention in Denver, he weighed in on who was worse.
"Edwards was only unfaithful to his wife. Lieberman was unfaithful to an entire party.”

Only??? Um, Phil...I would argue that cheating on your cancer stricken wife, lying about it, and paying said lover hush money with campaign contributions is a tad more repugnant than changing ones political party.
